Descended from Celtic royalty, born at the right time, I spurned all illusions about playing in the NBA. Being more mature and practical than ever before, I have chosen the path of songwriting..........
For the moment, this path is more of a dirt road than a super-highway. The songs I write meander more than rainwater finding its way back to the ocean. My lyrics follow any direction, every twist and turn, from the sublime to the ridiculous: real and imagined relationships, cowboy dreams, 9-11, cellular phones, muses, elvis imitation, and the ironic and paradoxical state of everyday life.
I live just north of Chicago (one of the greatest cities in the world, thank you). I used to be over 40, but I'm younger than that now..............
